Honestly, I’ve never seen a company demand both strong performance and good service!

【#SweatshopWorkplaceObservationDiary】Wellcome Medical Supplies: A chaotic system creates anxiety, while respect exists only as a slogan

To be honest, at first I thought the medical industry would at least be more stable and structured.

But after joining Wellcome, I finally understood—the only thing that is “stable” is the employees’ despair, while Wellcome Medical Supplies is merely there for decoration.

The company is like a board game whose rules no one ever understands.

The rules are updated every day, and the right to interpret them always belongs to the supervisors.

If you follow the rules, you’re “rigid and inflexible”;

if you make a judgment based on the situation on the ground, you’re “violating procedures.”

In the end, you realize that the only way not to be wrong is to say nothing.

Because speaking up = causing trouble; staying silent = survival.

Supervisors conduct meetings like speeches, and the topics generally fall into three categories:

1. Frontline staff are ignorant;

2. You need to learn to be grateful;

3. The company is already being very merciful.

Every meeting feels like a live-streamed emotional blackmail seminar.

The problem isn’t that no one raises issues—it’s that once you do, people question, “Do you have a problem with this?”

The most impressive part is the magical incantation: “The customer comes first.”

Whenever there’s a conflict or a customer complaint, regardless of the circumstances,

one statement from upper management—“You need empathy; you need to be flexible”—is enough to make you swallow all your grievances.

When you actually become flexible, they’ll then say, “You can’t do that; the rules don’t allow it.”

A perfect cycle of contradictions, enough to give philosophy students material for a thesis.

As for the salary? It would be more accurate to call it a “charity internship program.”

The number is so low that even inflation can’t be bothered to come looking for it.

The company culture is “those who can do the work should do a little more,”

which, translated into plain language, means: “If you can’t finish, it’s because you’re inefficient; if you do finish, that’s what you’re supposed to do.”

Overall impression:

Wellcome isn’t running a business; it’s conducting a psychological experiment.

They observe how employees rationalize contradictions to themselves,

then test how far human limits can be pushed before people are still willing to say, “I can try to hold on a little longer.”

If you enjoy challenges, love chaos,

and are passionate about “being misunderstood yet still having to smile and say you understand”—

congratulations, you’ll definitely be regarded as the chosen one here.

Otherwise, seriously, stay far away.

There are many places in the medical industry where you can save people, but this place will only make you sick first!

#The-supervisors-keep-making-mistakes-all-day-long-but-make-frontline-employees-take-the-blame!

Skilled at personal attacks and insults!

To put it bluntly, it’s a rotten company built on collusion between business and government!
