The employees seem to be fairly young.
1. I was reminded to arrive five minutes early before the interview, but the interviewer wasn’t even on time, haha.
2. Before the interview, I had to complete an aptitude test and QA questions.
3. The interviewer seemed to care only about the answers to the test questions, and it felt like they were asking questions while already holding the answers. They didn’t really ask about my personal work experience 👀
4. The company’s development team currently has no QA staff; the PMs handle all the testing. They have only recently started looking for a dedicated QA person to share the testing workload.
5. It sounds like there is no test automation at all, so the future QA person will have to figure things out and build it from scratch.
6. Updates are usually released once a month, with one week of testing each time.
7. The interviewer said the company is very leanly staffed, so when someone takes leave, other colleagues have to help share the workload.
