The interview process was fairly normal at first, but the interviewer kept telling their own stories, emphasizing how difficult things had been and how capable they were! When it came to discussing salary, they bluntly said how much they could offer and asked whether I could accept it! If I had already indicated my expected annual salary on my résumé, then if they couldn’t meet it, they shouldn’t have sent an interview invitation and wasted both our time 😑
