A group meal every three months
If you're thinking about coming here for a side job or part-time work, think carefully. Hourly employees sign a new contract every three months. The workforce skews older, with many older employees who throw their weight around. Their attitude is bad enough, but there are also a few petty people who report to management whenever someone is supposedly slacking off. Veteran employees can slack off with no consequences—sitting at their desks with their heads down asleep, using their phones to check stocks, chatting, browsing websites, and so on. But when someone who is only here for a part-time hourly job is picking orders in the warehouse, where it is tiring and hot, they are accused of slacking off and disappearing just for taking a short break. On top of that, hourly employees clearly do different work for the same pay. They expect us to remove tires, carry batteries, and move heavy items, so why do they hire women? One of them is even over 60. Every time there are heavy items to move, we men do the hard work while you get to enjoy yourselves? An elderly woman has worked here for nearly ten years and is still paid hourly—that shows how pathetic this company is. The only thing I can say is that the delivery drivers here are nice and easy to get along with. As for the strange atmosphere in the office, you definitely won't want to stay.
