Wanting to improve but being powerless to do so
Nan Pao has asked us all to use scanners. It’s much more convenient, helps reduce errors, and means we don’t have to spend a lot of time entering things on the computer or worry about making mistakes when typing.
But the plant manager stubbornly refuses to improve and insists on doing things his own way. He insists on not using the scanner, then complains about it, saying that making entry mistakes is troublesome and that he has to deal with this and that…
Is it really a problem with the way we enter orders? Why don’t you admit that it’s because you refuse to improve…? It’s really difficult to get things done.
