Convenient access to the MRT and buses near Songshan District.
A few years ago, as soon as I stepped in for the interview, I was required to fill out extensive personal information and tests, and even sign documents that appeared to be internal regulations. For job applicants who had not yet been hired, this process was inappropriate and a waste of time.
During the interview, HR was vague about the position's responsibilities. It sounded more like miscellaneous work, and the salary consisted only of a base wage.
What shocked me most was the attitude of the director who came in to conduct the interview. As a job applicant with an international corporate background, I had never encountered such personal humiliation in any interview: simply because I did not salute as requested, the director publicly questioned and belittled me, even criticizing my school, reciting my parents' full names, and also blaming the previous companies I had worked for.
**Such etiquette should be workplace etiquette after being hired, not something used during the interview stage to put on airs and intimidate people with age. This behavior went beyond disrespect and even trampled on a job applicant's basic dignity.**
Afterward, the other party added many job duties and requirements that had not been mentioned at all in the recruitment advertisement, while the compensation was not increased accordingly.
This interview left me psychologically distressed. I also want to remind friends who are job hunting: be sure to check reviews carefully and choose companies cautiously. When faced with unreasonable demands or humiliation, have the courage to refuse and protect yourself by staying away from environments that do not respect talent.
