No pros

There are honestly so many cons that I could never finish listing them！！！

1. Part-time employees have to clock in ten minutes early, while full-time employees have to clock in 15 minutes early (and this time is not paid).

2. You are not allowed to eat the ingredients at the store unless you pay for them. Employee meals cost 100 NTD and only have six options. You also have to take a photo and send it to the group chat for our “great” general manager and associate manager to review.

3. I was working part-time. Because the LaLaport Taichung store’s performance was poor, they kept pressuring and scolding the part-time employees, saying that we had not improved sales and that, with performance this bad, we had to find a way to fix it or our shifts would be cut 😑. Every day at work, we were lectured about working harder to improve sales. How much pressure do they want to put on us? Listening to this every day was really stressful. When I submitted my resignation, they called me in for a talk two minutes before the end of my shift. I said I was already late for class, but they insisted that I sit down and talk. I clearly said that I would work until 9/30, but those two “great” general and associate managers said, “You can leave today if you want.” I answered, “Okay,” and then they said, “Didn’t you say you were going to work until 9/30?” (What the hell do you actually want me to do? When I said I would work until 9/30, they asked why I would stay until the end of the month if I didn’t like working there. When I wanted to leave early, they questioned me about that too. Are these two idiots really this incapable of understanding? They just kept going around in circles.)

4. If you accidentally make a dish incorrectly, you have to pay for it at the full original price.

5. They say they treat employees well and offer high wages, but part-time employees only get 200 NTD. After passing a test, it becomes 210 NTD, while ordinary restaurants elsewhere will raise it to 250 NTD just for passing a test. Do they think they are so great? They are constantly emotionally manipulating the employees.

6. If you want to be a store manager at Sun Ramen, you have to be extremely submissive. On your day off, if you sit in the food court outside the store working on reports, you still have to come into the store from time to time to help. When the two people from headquarters come down, you also have to let them scold you like a dog, nod, do as they say, and obediently listen. Working on your day off is unpaid 😀

7. This company is so “charitable” that it asks part-time employees to donate money to charity 😑. If you refuse, they will emotionally pressure you, saying, “At least donate 50 NTD—it’s only the price of a drink.”
