The interview was very enthusiastic, and they asked only professional terminology questions.
They were willing to give me time to arrive later.
The manager and assistant manager were both nice.
As soon as I started, the computer needed to be updated again. I said, “Maybe not—the computer’s specs are too poor, and it would be unusable for several days.”
The desks were messy and hadn’t been organized. Everyone shared the same desks.
They kept saying that the boss would watch the surveillance cameras. So what? Just do your work properly. When phones needed to be used, it was only for taking photos or contacting colleagues to handle things.
The assistant manager said phones couldn’t be used and even said that we couldn’t put our hands in our pockets. Isn’t that micromanaging too much?
Because the computer couldn’t be used, they told me to go help on the production line. .0.0 Are you kidding me?\
Position applied for: Maintenance Engineer. Of course that means repairing circuit boards, studying circuit boards, examining wiring and signal paths, and identifying the directions of voltage and current.
Telling me to go to the production line makes no sense.
Also, the production-line team leader and deputy team leader acted as if they had been doing this for more than ten years, shouting orders at people like they were dogs.
They cut the salary I requested. The original offer was immediately reduced to 80%. After I started, I was only told I was a Maintenance Engineer, and there was no one to hand things over to me.
I was left to figure everything out on my own. I hadn’t even been there for three days, and they were already trying to assert their authority. What is this, the military?
If the assistant manager hadn’t been my senior schoolmate, I wouldn’t have come. The people there were really difficult to get along with.
Everyone else could do it, but you couldn’t. >< Think carefully before applying.
