There is a meal allowance, five days of travel leave, and some small perks (Friday afternoon tea), but nothing else.
1. After the massive layoffs in 2025, work handovers became completely chaotic. Internal staff have been constantly cleaning up the mess, everyone has to take on multiple roles, and even suppliers can barely find anyone to contact.
2. After the layoffs, the company said it would use AI, but then discovered that its AI technology could not keep up and started looking again for people willing to work for low salaries.
3. The company likes holding grandiose meetings, telling everyone about the goals and direction for the year, but no one listens. Afterward, everyone still works independently, with no coordination or connection.
4. The video and social media colleagues have a very high-and-mighty attitude. Even arranging a shoot requires everyone to beg them, and they will also choose the locations they want to visit. Yet the videos they produce are all repetitive and completely lacking in originality.
5. To get promoted and receive a raise, you must first work hard for a year and rank among the top 30% of your department. Then you must give a presentation and be evaluated by managers from other departments who are unfamiliar with your work to determine whether you pass.
6. There are many people here who have returned for a second or third time. Most of those who return are not particularly capable; they may simply have good relationships with certain managers.
7. I do not recommend applying unless you want to become a hero in a chaotic world. However, you may first be defeated by workplace PUA and cross-departmental “non-communication,” or be added to the layoff list after completing your project.
