I arrived five minutes early for the interview as agreed. After the receptionist notified the company’s HR department, I was directed to a meeting room to wait.

However, I waited for more than 20 minutes, and the HR representative I was scheduled to interview with never showed up. After I asked the receptionist again, some passing colleagues kindly helped contact HR, but they said they could not reach that HR representative and that no one from the HR department was there.

Only after I left and sent a message informing the HR representative that I had canceled and left because I had waited too long did I receive a phone call from them.

What was even more outrageous was that the HR representative even mispronounced my surname and gave a very far-fetched explanation for being absent for more than 20 minutes: it was not because they were onboarding a new employee or because of a high turnover rate, but simply because the arrangements had not been properly coordinated.

You can tell a lot from the details. Based on this interview alone, I have never encountered a company more outrageous than this one.
