Work experience: Overall, it was basically doing odd jobs.
The manager is an old guy. Whenever there is a problem with the company’s own products, he starts complaining that the products are terrible. He would even ask whether new hires know how to use them. My inner thought was: If I knew how to use them, would I still need to come and learn from you?
Even more outrageous was an occasion when a typhoon day off had been announced. Early that morning, the manager called me and asked whether I wanted to go to the company to learn things from him and, while I was there, practice driving a manual-transmission truck. (At that point, I was thinking again: The trip there takes 50 minutes, so going there and back takes nearly an hour and a half. There was no wind or rain in the morning, but by the afternoon there were strong winds and torrential rain. The day off had already been announced the day before, yet you’re telling me you only found out that morning that it was a typhoon day off? If you don’t care about your life, I still want to live a little longer.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering working for this company think twice.
