The attitude of the interviewer in the final round was really terrible.

Although they were clearly hiring for an engineering position, they kept emphasizing that I didn’t have experience marketing products. On top of that, their tone was unpleasant, and it felt like I was being lectured.

What made me the angriest was that if the company was looking for engineers but genuinely cared about marketing experience as well, they could have made that clear in the first round of interviews. It was obvious from my résumé that I had no marketing experience, so they could have simply rejected me and saved both sides time.

After making it to the third interview, they only brought up this reason—seriously...? Did they think everyone had plenty of time? Or were they just looking for someone to lecture and use as a free outlet for their emotions?
