Pros

I applied for a retail store position and had two interviews in total.

Before applying, I had watched a video on YouTube in which Lion Travel’s HR team shared tips on how to interview, so I prepared some questions and answers. In fact, some of the questions I had prepared were asked during the interview. During the section where candidates could ask questions, three candidates took turns asking and answering questions. The other two had very obviously not done their homework and had prepared nothing to ask. When it was my turn, the interviewer suddenly told the two people next to me to listen carefully to the questions I asked. I wondered how he knew what I wanted to ask.

I asked how the base salary was determined.

How were bonuses calculated, and when were they paid?

Apart from the bonuses paid during the three major holidays, were there any other employee benefits?

What would I need to do during the probationary period, and what standards would I need to meet for it to be approved?

I took notes while HR explained things and also asked follow-up questions about some details. At the end, I stood up and asked whether I would be notified if I was accepted or rejected, and how long it would take to find out. The interviewer asked me when I could start. I said anytime, but they had fixed start dates.

The next day, I received a call asking me to go back for another interview because they thought the retail store position was not suitable for me. They asked whether I would consider another department, corporate services. I replied that I had considered the retail store position because the company was too far away, but they still persuaded me to attend a second interview. The second interview was conducted by the department manager. He seemed like an impatient person and only asked about my computer skills, whether I was sensitive about money, and when I could start work. In the end, they asked me to report to work on Monday. I asked whether there were not fixed start dates, and the manager said no, he would take care of it. I then started working.

Cons

It is really far away, and you have to walk a fair distance to find food nearby. People often report illegally parked vehicles. Although there are parking lots here, they all charge fees. Despite there being so many office buildings, there are no designated motorcycle parking spaces, and places where you can park are still considered sidewalks. Commuting by public transportation is also very inconvenient.
