None of the advantages you can think of exist~
1. Company benefits
1-1: Three major holiday bonuses—You may think they exist, but they actually don't, because their listing on 104 says “bonuses/gifts for the three major holidays,” so they usually fob you off with gifts instead. They won't even give you PX Mart gift vouchers~
1-2: Probationary period—They may initially agree on a certain salary with you, but lower it during the probationary period. Even after you pass, they may not adjust it for you; they might even dismiss you the day before your probation ends~
1-3: Flexible working hours—They do indeed offer this, but there is basically no overtime pay. They will say that you are on a responsibility-based system, that completing the work is simply your responsibility, and that you only had to work overtime because of your poor abilities~ So this “flexibility” may sometimes extend into your private time on holidays~
1-4: Self-service snacks and coffee—The employee lounge has a coffee machine and a sparkling-water machine, as well as a limited supply of cheap biscuits and drinks. However, please note that employees are not allowed to eat or chat in the lounge~
1-5: Parking spaces—I've heard that if you use an available company parking space, you have to pay $100 each time~
1-6: Additional note on clocking in and out—Flexible working hours are recorded by clocking in and out on your company computer. The system sometimes malfunctions, so even if you came to work but your clock-in was unsuccessful, or you came to work but forgot to clock in, you have to pay $100 at the front desk and apologize to them~ Otherwise, you have to meekly obtain proof of your clock-in and give it to your supervisor, letting them decide whether to cancel the penalty for you.
1-7: Additional note on clocking in and out—Company regulations require you to complete your clock-in regardless of when you start or finish work, and to do so before 6 p.m.~ This way, you won't be able to collect evidence that you worked overtime, or evidence that your overtime was not reported or paid~
1-8: Year-end and spring dinner gatherings—They can help you compile a Kaohsiung map of top-tier, terrible restaurants~
1-9: Year-end bonus—I've heard it is based on performance evaluations. No matter how hard you work, I've heard the maximum is one month's salary~ Maximum, not minimum~
1-10: Severance pay—If you are lucky enough to join this company and also lucky enough to be dismissed, please proactively ask for your severance pay; otherwise, they may brush you off without even bringing it up~
2. Workplace environment and job duties
2-1: Colleagues—I genuinely think the junior colleagues are all quite nice. After all, they are simply unfortunate people. However, this company prohibits employees from becoming too close, and even tries to require that they not eat lunch together~
2-2: Supervisors—The supervisors said to have actual authority are those at the manager level. I've heard that they are all fairly incompetent and stupid, have no sympathy for employees, and do not even know what they themselves want. The Administration Department is the most horrifying~
2-3: The company's main focus—You may think it is a promising AI company, and they also call themselves an AI company. In reality, it is all fake AI and real Indians: everything you think is AI is done manually. After the fake-AI news, the CEO exclaimed, “How about us?”
3. CEO
Experience: Wears an AI PhD diploma but has no work experience; became CEO through industry–academia collaboration and claims to be the company’s co-founder.
Interests: Flossing while spraying saliva, making up nonsense, and PUA-ing people; habitually looking down on others and endlessly shifting blame onto and smearing employees.
Abilities: Unknown.
Active skills: Sarcasm and disparagement, shouting, emotional blackmail, dismissal.
Passive skills: Control freak, negative atmosphere, bullying through power, luck?
Pet: Head of Administration
In summary, if you are lucky enough to join this company, it will be the biggest stain on your life. You will have the unhappiest working life imaginable. If you have not yet joined this company, please do not refuse to believe the warnings. Everything in the company revolves around that self-aggrandizing, insecure, incompetent CEO who discriminates against and disparages others. After you leave, you will have nothing tangible to show for everything you devoted here. Beginners, challengers, those changing careers for the second or third time, and even those seeking ultimate evolution: do not enter~
Finally, let us mourn the unfortunate founder and investors who entrusted their money, time, and energy to someone with no social experience, no work experience, and possibly no friends, making that person CEO.
