There are many days off. Christmas and make-up workdays are both holidays, and there is also more leave than required by the Labor Standards Act. However, the additional leave cannot be exchanged for money.
The statutory annual leave that can be exchanged for pay is used first when taking leave,
so it is still more worthwhile to take it all at once.
There is capsule coffee available for free.
A certain manager in the market research department has an extremely bad temper and is impossible to communicate with.
They curse at people like dogs at the slightest provocation, treating and berating you like a dog regardless of the occasion, time, or place,
and continuing to berate you over trivial matters.
Overtime can only be compensated with time off. It is difficult to report overtime for pay—those who know, know. However, I do not know whether the rules differ between departments.
Anyway, I consider it a Taiwanese company packaged as a foreign enterprise.
