The following is a combination of my own experience and information shared by colleagues from other departments.
Salary & future prospects (none):
There may be an opportunity to make enough to get by.
Apart from selling visions and sentiment, the boss will not offer anything more.
I heard from the sales team that they suggested to the boss increasing bonuses to motivate everyone to strive for better results. The boss said it would be better to hold a cold-calling competition instead, with the champion receiving one certificate (preferably with a Qiaohu sticker pasted on it for me).
So most outstanding colleagues choose to leave, and then, you know the rest.
Management:
Whenever the boss comes up with something on a whim, you will be expected to carry it out.
Two days later, he himself no longer knows what he is doing. Most absurdly, he is not even very good at using the company system he created himself. (Otherwise, how did you invent it?)
Leadership:
According to colleagues who are still employed, the company's performance has declined significantly, but the head of sales presented himself with an Outstanding Employee Award at the company banquet. (I am confused.)
Assignments are extremely vague and completely disorganized; the exact words in the supervisor's head are treated as instructions. Even when they are in Chinese, they still have to be put through AI translation to be understood. (A translation company whose Chinese still needs translating?)
Communication:
If external business is not involved, colleagues are generally easy to get along with and fairly straightforward.
During conversations, supervisors ask about colleagues' private matters, such as where they go after work and their relationship status, and then tell them to prioritize work or say similar things, which is uncomfortable.
More than one colleague has said that when a certain supervisor loses control of their emotions, they use words like “bullsxxt” or words beginning with “f.”
The boss basically has no ability to communicate across departments. Due to this lack of ability, information between departments is often out of sync, causing all kinds of conflicts. (You can't wake someone who is pretending to sleep?)
Work execution:
Basically, every department often ends up wasting another day's work whenever the boss changes his mind.
These supervisors fail to realize that they are going around in circles and wasting everyone's time. Many former colleagues chose to leave because they felt communication was ineffective, and then, you know the rest.
Turnover:
There are endless cases of employees being told to leave on the same day. On one occasion, someone who had been fired that day was asked to give a speech to everyone at the monthly meeting. I felt embarrassed for them from my seat, let alone how the person involved must have felt.
Human resources:
HR often fails to answer the question asked and does not read or respond to messages. They also fish for information by asking which supervisor you dislike, even after you refuse to answer. They will ask again in another round of fishing within five minutes, which is extremely off-putting.
Whether the company violates labor laws:
Search for “company name + labor law violations.”
Then you will know.
Conclusion:
If you...
Want to make money, this is not suitable for you.
Want to work with a smart boss or supervisor, this is not suitable for you.
Hate ineffective communication, this is not suitable for you.
Hate doing work for nothing, this is not suitable for you.
Hate being asked about your private life and having information fished out of you, this is not suitable for you.
If you
Have more tolerance than Guanyin, this is suitable for you.
Plan to work with people who go around in circles and want a stable salary, this is suitable for you.
