A veteran of 10 years at the Houke plant passing by~ (The organizational systems and atmosphere at the Houke and Tanzi plants are very different.)
*The company complies with the Labor Standards Act~ employees’ rights are protected.
*An overseas travel subsidy of NT$15,000 once every two years & domestic travel once a year (you can choose the itinerary for both).
*The leave system is pretty good (they aren’t overly difficult about annual leave or sick leave—feel free to apply and use it all~ this really changed my perception).
*As long as you have the right mindset, you don’t have to worry about offending people when speaking up (being yourself and having your own personality are important).
*Veteran employees won’t teach you unless they have to~ you have to figure things out and learn on your own (mindset is important).
*Supervisors have unusually convoluted thought processes~ you need to have your own ideas, or they’ll take advantage of you (they really push it).
