Does being close to home count?
This is a company that loves AI and embraces AI. No matter how big or small the matter, they always start by saying: Have you asked AI? From project proposals to social media copy, as well as questionnaire design and image design—in short, all kinds of tasks, big and small, are guided by AI. Your own ideas and experience seem to count for nothing. Other points are listed below, including personal preferences and feelings:
1. As those who came before have said, the KPIs are set extremely high—there's simply no way to achieve them within a month.
2. Working on a laptop is really painful. Just the font size and switching between Chinese, English, and numbers are enough to make you irritable.
3. The year-end bonus is explicitly set at 0.5 months. Although a year-end bonus isn't mandatory, I'd rather they hadn't specified it; for such a large company, 0.5 months only makes them seem stingy.
4. Any sick leave exceeding one day requires a medical certificate. Most companies require one after three days. I have to ask: what illness can be cured in just one day? They'd rather have everyone coughing in the same office and infecting one another; one colleague was sick for a whole month and still didn't recover.
5. Fake democracy. They keep saying that you can propose any opinions or plans, but after you do, they ask, “Do you think this is good? Is this okay? Have you asked AI?” Then all proposals end up being shelved because of this, and in the end they still say your progress is too slow and that you haven't produced anything.
Anyway, my experience was really bad. Maybe it would suit someone else?
