Pros

The interview itself did not have any problems.

Cons

Line X department team leader

The male team leader is extremely feminine, loves to nag, and is sometimes emotional. He always has a sour expression. His department cannot retain employees and is constantly replacing people. He does not chat much with colleagues; apart from handling work, he hardly talks with anyone privately. He basically keeps to himself. He is extremely rigid. I couldn't stand it.

When I worked together with a new colleague, the productivity was too low.

I told the new employee to take it slowly and do the work steadily. I hoped she could do it well before gradually requiring herself to increase her output. The team leader then went to watch the surveillance footage and check the content of our conversation. Because the team leader nagged at her, the new colleague became very angry and kept saying that the team leader was extremely annoying and nagged too much. The new colleague also asked about the team leader's situation at the company. To be completely honest, he really has no interpersonal relationships.

Because there had been a problem with low productivity the first time, when I worked at the first station, I recorded the quantities myself. Sure enough, that day's output exceeded the standard. This also helped protect me.

Later, when we did the same work again, the new colleague was working at the first station and again failed to meet the productivity standard. I was at the second station (the first station controls the output quantity).

At that point, the team leader nagged at both of us again. He knew what had happened, so I told him that I had recorded the quantities last time and that the productivity had met the standard. The next day, he told the new colleague that she needed to improve herself.

The next time we did the same work, when a new colleague was at the first station, the team leader said it was an unreasonable request and that the target had to be met no matter what.

I felt that the work itself was quite okay. I can only say that I was unlucky to have encountered this team leader. Whatever!

I went to the restroom two or three, or three or four, times a day during working hours and was nagged about it. He was unhappy and kept watching me while I worked. I had previously told the team leader that, because of my health, I needed to drink more water, which meant I would also need to use the restroom.

I felt that he was my team leader, and I had already explained this to him. Instead of speaking up for his team member, he acted this way. I felt that he was a person without warmth. This was the first time I had encountered a supervisor like this.

The last time, I went to the restroom because I had a stomachache. He came to the production line to check on me twice and reviewed the surveillance footage to see when I entered and left. When he came back, he questioned me about how long I had been in the restroom. I became very nervous about using the restroom, so I went to my locker to get my phone in order to time myself and check how long I had been in there. After using the restroom, I put my phone back in the locker and hurried back to the production line to work. I had been in the restroom for ten minutes because of my stomachache.

It takes about five minutes to walk there and back, and the work area is somewhat far away.

The issue of using the restroom made me very nervous and stressed. I often held in my urine, which caused severe swelling in my legs. In the end, the team leader pressured me into submitting my resignation.

I told the assistant manager about the situation. Although the assistant manager allowed me to provide medical documentation, I said it was not necessary because I no longer wanted to work there. The assistant manager was also very kind and told me to think it over carefully and not act out of impulse.

I went home and thought about it for two days, but I still could not accept this team leader or being treated this way. I truly felt very wronged. I only hoped that I could meet a good supervisor at my next job.

At my previous job, when I needed to use the restroom, my supervisor said I could just go and did not need to ask. It was very humane. Even if I was hungry sometimes, it was okay to eat a small bite of a biscuit.

As long as the work productivity target was met, that was enough.

We could even wear earphones and listen to music while working.

Later, because there were fewer orders, the company downsized and laid off employees.

Everything stated above is completely true.
