1. During the interview process, HR was very professional, and the onboarding information and activities were explained very clearly.

2. IT is highly efficient.

=====Don’t ignore the warning signs=====

Before the interview, I looked at online reviews. At the time, I felt that everyone’s feedback was rather negative, but because the salary and job title offered were good, I still joined despite the warning signs. Please, really don’t.

1. After I joined, my direct supervisor suddenly appeared in a meeting after one week and said three sentences to me. Normally, she never greeted me or had any brief one-on-one conversations with me. When I proactively approached her, she said she was busy and that we could talk the following week.

2. As soon as I joined, one team member had already signed a resignation date, and another had already told HR that they wanted to transfer to another department or else resign. The so-called team was basically nonexistent. Yet during the interview, they acted as if nothing was wrong and did not mention any of this at all.

3. Colleagues said the supervisor often became hysterical, shouted, and was extremely emotional—the entire floor could hear it. (So if the department is on the 9th floor, you may want to think carefully.)

4. The handling of clients was also extremely intense. There were constant emails and phone calls, even on holidays such as Tomb-Sweeping Day and New Year’s Day, and they kept sending messages relentlessly. The supervisor did not explicitly require responses on the same day, but in practice, colleagues said that if you did not respond that day, you would be tagged.

In the end, when I left the company, I was genuinely very grateful to this supervisor as well. She did not even ask what had happened. It was a simple five-minute conversation, during which she spent three minutes lecturing me about having poor stress tolerance and saying, “Every company in Taiwan is like this.”

Sigh. As long as you think it’s good, that’s all that matters. With so many good colleagues, one person alone can create a terrible work environment. Amitabha.
