I used to work at this company, but left after the department I served was merged into a foreign-owned company. The company encourages employees to pursue further education and pays for course fees. It is considered a fairly good opportunity for professional development.
Long-term employees make up half of the workforce, so it is relatively stable.
Employees who just coast along are laid off, but fortunately, colleagues generally get along well. Employees have received profit sharing for two consecutive years, which is a modest benefit.
The product lines have recently expanded, and the company is hiring aggressively.

The downside is that if you are not interested in putting in extra effort, you can coast for three months and then wait to be laid off. No vegetarian lunch is provided.
