I used to work at this company, but left because the department I served was merged into a foreign-owned company. This company encourages employees to pursue further education, and the company pays for course fees. It is considered a fairly good opportunity for professional development.
Long-term employees make up half of the workforce, so it is relatively stable.
Employees who just coast along will be laid off, but fortunately, colleagues generally get along well. Employees have received profit sharing for two consecutive years, which is a modest perk.
The product lines have increased recently, and the company is hiring aggressively.

The downside is that if you do not want to work very hard, you can coast for three months and then wait to be laid off.
