The workload is like a shower: sometimes there’s a lot, and sometimes you’re so idle you end up scrolling on your phone. The plant manager is essentially the branch manager. Whenever you hear “the company has decided,” unless there’s an official document, 99% of the time it’s actually something the plant manager decided.
New technicians are trained only by senior and experienced technicians. If you don’t do the job well, the technician will chew you out without holding back. After maintenance, the senior technician won’t perform a final inspection; if there’s a problem after the vehicle is released, you’re screwed. New employees don’t receive hourly-work bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual, there may be night-shift duty. Basically, the duty schedule violates the Labor Standards Act (8 regular hours + 16 hours on duty + 8 hours of work the next day). If newcomers want to make money, they can stay; at this company, your experience largely depends on which mentor you get.
