The workload is like a passing rainstorm—sometimes there’s a lot to do, and sometimes you’re so idle that you end up scrolling on your phone. The plant manager is essentially the branch office owner. Whenever you hear “the company has decided,” unless there’s an official document, 99% of the time it’s actually the plant manager’s decision.
New technicians are trained only by traditional methods and senior technicians. If you don’t do a good job, the technicians will scold you without holding back. After maintenance, the senior technicians do not perform a final inspection; if there’s a problem after the vehicle is released, you’re basically screwed. New employees do not receive hourly-work bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual, there may be night-shift duty. Basically, the duty schedule violates labor law (8 hours of regular work + 16 hours of duty + 8 hours of work the next day). If newcomers want to make money, they should stay; at this company, it depends on whether your mentor takes a liking to you.
