Work is like a rain shower: sometimes there is a lot to do, and sometimes you are so idle that you just scroll on your phone. The factory manager is essentially the branch manager. Whenever you hear “the company has decided,” unless there is an official document, 99% of the time it is actually the factory manager’s decision.
New technicians are trained only by traditional methods and senior technicians. If you do a poor job, the senior technicians will chew you out without holding back. After maintenance, the senior technicians do not perform a final inspection; if there is a problem after the vehicle is released, you are screwed. New employees do not receive hourly-work bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual, there may be night-shift duty. Basically, the duty schedule violates the Labor Standards Act (8 hours + 16 hours of duty + 8 hours of work the next day). If new employees want money, they should stay; at this company, it depends on whether the master technician takes a liking to you.
