The workload is like a passing rain shower: sometimes there’s a lot to do, and sometimes you’re so idle that you end up scrolling on your phone. The plant manager is essentially the branch company’s boss. Whenever you hear “the company has decided,” unless there’s an official document, 99% of the time it’s actually something the plant manager decided.
New technicians are trained only by traditional methods and senior technicians. If you don’t do a good job, the technicians will scold you without holding back. After maintenance, the senior technicians do not perform a final inspection; if there is a problem after the vehicle is released, you’re screwed. New employees do not receive hourly-work bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual, there may be night-shift duty. Basically, the duty schedule violates the Labor Standards Act (8 hours of regular work + 16 hours of duty + 8 hours of work the next day). If new employees want to make money, they can stay, but at this company, everything depends on whether your assigned mentor is willing to help you.
