The workload is like a passing shower—sometimes there’s a lot, and sometimes you’re so idle you just scroll on your phone. The plant manager is essentially the branch manager. Whenever you hear “the company has decided,” unless there’s an official document, 99% of the time it’s something the plant manager decided.
New technicians are trained only by senior and veteran technicians. If you don’t do a good job, the technicians will bluntly chew you out. After maintenance, the senior technician won’t perform a final inspection; if there’s a problem after the vehicle is released, you’re screwed. New hires don’t receive hourly-work bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual, there may be night-shift duty. Basically, the duty schedule violates the Labor Standards Act (8 hours + 16 hours of duty + 8 hours of work the next day). If newcomers want to make money, they can stay; this company depends on whether you get a good mentor.
