The workload is like a rain shower—sometimes there’s a lot, and sometimes you’re so idle you end up scrolling on your phone. The plant manager is essentially the branch office boss. Whenever you hear “the company has decided,” unless there’s an official document, 99% of the time it’s something the plant manager decided.
New technicians are trained only by traditional methods and senior technicians. If you don’t do a good job, the technician will chew you out without holding back. After maintenance, senior technicians won’t perform a final inspection; if there’s a problem after the vehicle is released, you’re screwed. New hires don’t receive hourly-work bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual, there may be night-shift duty. Basically, the duty schedule violates the Labor Standards Act (8 hours + 16 hours of duty + 8 hours of work the following day). If new hires want to make money, they should stick around; at this company, everything depends on whether your master takes a liking to you.
