The workload is like a passing rainstorm—sometimes there’s a lot to do, and sometimes you’re so idle you just scroll on your phone. The plant manager is essentially the branch office’s boss. Whenever you hear “the company has decided,” unless there’s an official document, 99% of the time it’s actually the plant manager’s decision.
New technicians are trained only by senior and veteran technicians. If you don’t do a good job, the technician will harshly berate you. After maintenance, the senior technicians do not carry out a final inspection; if there is a problem after the vehicle is returned, you’re screwed. New employees do not receive hourly-work bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual, there may be evening shifts. Basically, the shift schedule violates labor laws (8 hours + 16-hour shift duty + 8 hours of work the next day). New employees who want the money can stay, but at this company, your experience depends on which master technician you get.
