The workload is like a rain shower—sometimes there’s a lot to do, and sometimes you’re so idle that you end up scrolling on your phone.
New technicians are trained only by traditional methods and by senior technicians. If you don’t do a good job, the technicians will reprimand you without holding back. After maintenance, the senior technicians don’t perform a final inspection, so if there’s a problem after the vehicle is released, you’re screwed. New hires don’t receive hourly-work bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual’s ability, there may be night-shift duty. Basically, the duty schedule violates the Labor Standards Act (8 hours of regular work + 16 hours of duty + 8 hours of work the next day). New hires who want to make money can stay, but at this company, your experience depends on whether you get along with your mentor.
