The workload is like a rain shower—sometimes there’s a lot to do, and sometimes you’re bored enough to scroll on your phone.
New technicians are trained only by senior technicians in the traditional way. If you don’t do well, the technicians will bluntly scold you. After maintenance, the senior technician won’t conduct a final inspection; if there’s a problem after the vehicle is released, you’re screwed. New hires don’t receive productivity bonuses during their first three months. Depending on the individual, there may be night shifts. Basically, the shifts violate labor laws (8 hours + 16-hour shift duty + 8 hours of work the next day). Newcomers who want to make money can stay, but at this company, your experience depends on which technician you end up with.
