The turnover is very high—half the staff is replaced every six months, so you can get to know many colleagues.
There is no system, no benefits, and many illegal practices, so you have to be careful. The boss likes to make grand promises, while senior managers dump work and blame others whenever they feel like it. Management works together seamlessly to make life difficult for frontline employees. Matters discussed in managers’ meetings are never passed down, deliberately creating information gaps and misinformation. Frontline employees are left confused every day, wondering what this company is even trying to do. They like to hire inexperienced newcomers at low salaries and exploit them, but never actually teach or train them. On your first day, you are expected to go all in and take over work immediately, without any proper handover. The boss loves to say that the company is a startup in the high-tech AI industry, but the company culture is even more traditional than that of conventional industries. I have never seen them purchase or implement any AI systems for the company to use. They like using free software versions; otherwise, they use the family version of Office and even require employees to link their own private email accounts. The whole company is nothing like a technology company.
