The turnover is very high, with half the staff being replaced every six months, so you can get to know many colleagues.
There are no systems, no benefits, and many illegal practices, so you have to be careful. The boss likes to make grand promises, while senior managers like to dump work and shift the blame whenever they feel like it. The management team works together seamlessly to make life difficult for front-line employees. Matters discussed in managers’ meetings are never communicated downward; information gaps are deliberately created, and inaccurate information is circulated. Front-line employees are left confused every day, not knowing what this company is trying to do. The company likes to recruit inexperienced newcomers, pay them low wages, and exploit them. It does not teach new employees properly and provides no employee training. On the first day, new hires are expected to go all in and take over work immediately, without any proper handover. The boss loves to say that the company is a startup in the high-tech AI industry, but its company culture is even more traditional than that of conventional industries. I have never seen the company purchase or implement any AI systems for use. It likes to use free software versions or the Home edition of Office, and even requires employees to provide and bind their personal email accounts. Overall, it is nothing like a technology company.
