The company is small. During the interview, the HR representative (possibly the boss?) appeared polite and courteous, but was actually very disrespectful.

I applied for a retail position, but during the interview they kept asking questions about e-commerce management and marketing. My experience is not in that area; I had only had slight exposure to it in one job, and my résumé did not claim it as a specialty. After I explained this, they said that my knowledge in this area was of zero value to them. I wasn’t even interviewing for that position in the first place—what were they thinking?

The starting salary listed on 104 only reaches that amount when other bonuses are included, and the bonus calculation method is also very unusual. The interview was for a position at a fixed sales counter, but it seemed that existing senior employees had too much annual leave to use up, so they needed “full-time employees” to travel between locations for support. This included Taoyuan Airport, and the company would not fully reimburse the commuting expenses for such support. Overall, the arrangement was extremely unreasonable—essentially the size and policies of a small traditional company. I strongly advise anyone considering an interview to think twice.
