The work environment is good, very new, and the equipment is very new. The pantry is well-equipped. The colleagues are all young and generally easy to get along with.

This company really likes holding meetings. There are various routine meetings every day, many of which are just for formality. Whenever external guests visit, everyone must attend. It feels like the company places a lot of emphasis on its image and therefore likes to make everyone participate. The boss occasionally comes up with additional activities that employees are required to attend, such as small competitions. You get a drink on your birthday, and snacks are often provided. Besides your regular daily work, there are also a whole lot of routine miscellaneous tasks that new employees are expected to handle. These are tasks that can only be reassigned once another new employee joins, so if no new person comes in, you just keep doing them. Every department monitors the others, so your interactions with everyone are monitored, and if you do something poorly, all the managers will know. Leave requests are approved, but you may be given a hard time afterward. There is an overtime culture, but overtime is compensated with time off in lieu rather than overtime pay. Personally, I also think the salary is much lower than that of other companies in the same industry.
