The work environment is good and very new, with new equipment and a well-equipped pantry. The colleagues are all young and generally easy to get along with.
This is a company that really likes holding meetings. There are various routine meetings every day, many of which are merely formalities. Whenever an external guest visits, everyone must attend; it feels like the company places more emphasis on its image and therefore likes to have everyone present. The boss occasionally comes up with additional activities that employees are required to attend, such as small competitions. There are drinks on birthdays, and snacks are often provided. In addition to their actual daily work, new employees are responsible for a large number of routine minor tasks. These tasks can only be reassigned when another new employee joins—in other words, if no new person comes in, you just keep doing them. Every department monitors the others, so your interactions with everyone are monitored, and if you do something poorly, all the managers will know. Leave requests are approved, but you will be made things difficult for afterward. There is an overtime culture, but overtime is compensated with time off in lieu rather than overtime pay. Personally, I think the salary is also much lower than that of other companies in the same industry.
