For fieldwork, the company provides a company car and a business phone. The company enjoys wining and dining.
A small family business that sells bathroom and sanitary equipment. One person is expected to do the work of three, so the job relies heavily on sales ability. Employees who join must memorize the company’s product information and prices. Whether working in the office or in the field, you need to be capable of sales and cold outreach. You also have to do a great deal of physical labor and drive the supervisor around to different counties and cities. Every day, you must submit reports and write up what you did that day. After work, you often have to stay for meetings and discussions. Even when there is nothing important to discuss, there are still many meaningless meetings held after hours. You also frequently have to run personal errands for the boss. Employees are treated like servants and are often required to work beyond their scheduled hours. There are also too many business dinners and social engagements, which often run very late. The pay is low, and the performance bonuses are practically worthless. The boss keeps a very close eye on employees: in addition to requiring daily reports, they constantly watch the surveillance cameras and use the company-car tracking system. From time to time, employees are also required to submit reflections on their work. Working at this company teaches you what it means to have no quality of life and to suffer from the back-to-work blues after vacation. The pay is also very little. Not recommended!
