For fieldwork, the company provides a company car and a business phone. The company enjoys wining and dining.
A small family business that sells bathroom and sanitary equipment. One person is expected to do the work of three, so it relies heavily on sales ability. Employees who join need to memorize the company’s product information and prices. Whether working in the office or in the field, you need sales skills and the ability to develop new clients. You also have to do a lot of manual labor and act as a driver, taking supervisors all over other counties and cities. Every day, you have to submit reports and write timesheets explaining that day’s work. After work, you often have to stay for meetings and discussions. Even when there are no important matters, there are still many meaningless meetings held after hours. You also frequently have to run errands and handle the boss’s personal affairs. Employees are treated like servants and are often made to work past their scheduled hours. There are also too many business dinners and social engagements, often keeping you out very late. The salary is low, and the performance bonuses are practically worthless. The boss keeps a very close eye on employees: in addition to requiring daily reports, they monitor the surveillance cameras at all times and use a GPS tracking system on company vehicles. From time to time, employees are also required to submit reflections on their work. Working at this company lets you experience what it means to have no quality of life and the post-holiday blues. The pay is also pitifully low. Not recommended!
