When checking in at Juyang, you sign the work rules stating that you will be fined NT$20 for forgetting to clock in and NT$40 for forgetting to bring your card. Even if you clocked in but it does not show up on the computer, telling HR that you clocked in is useless—you will still be fined NT$20. I called 1999 and was told that this violates regulations; even if it is written in the work rules, it is still illegal. However, HR does not seem to know that this is illegal. I hope someone who cares about justice can have this wage-deduction rule removed.
