To evade the Labor Standards Act, the company requires employees to submit an “Overtime Estimate Report” for approval by the general manager before working overtime; otherwise, the overtime will not be counted or paid. Employees must also fill out a “Voluntary Overtime Application Form” to evade the Labor Standards Act, making the government mistakenly believe that employees volunteer to work overtime. In reality, salaries are kept extremely low, so employees have to rely on overtime pay to supplement their income.
When working overtime, no boxed meals or missed-meal allowances are provided.
For leave requests, when there is a consecutive holiday period (Saturday and Sunday), approval from the general manager is required before leave can be taken. If requesting two or more days of leave, employees must also write a report for the general manager’s approval. Annual leave is mandated by the government; as long as work progress is not affected, the company should not control how I use it. However, the general manager of this company really does reject leave requests and only approves them after employees escalate the matter and submit their resignations.
Salaries are calculated manually, and payment always takes five working days. If there is a holiday, payment is guaranteed to be delayed. Salaries are never paid on time. The compensation system is divided into a responsibility-based system, an overtime-based system, and a system in which half the monthly salary is paid monthly and the other half is paid every three months.
