This company is actually a family business. The management team consists entirely of the owner's children, who were supposed to take over as the second generation. Unfortunately, they couldn't, so older outsiders were brought in instead, and in the end there were many members of the owner's inner circle.

Another issue is that there are many colleagues who look down their noses at others and ignore people. They won't even say a word to you, and they're the type to roll their eyes when they see you. There are far too many fake, two-faced performers who put on an act every day—one face in public and another behind your back. They form cliques, spread endless gossip, constantly complain, and endlessly criticize newcomers. Today they'll secretly say that one person is strange and another is odd; every new colleague who comes in gets judged. Meanwhile, the clique members stay there forever, secretly spreading rumors and driving others away. I guess this is how they managed to become long-time deadwood who have been there for seven or eight years.

With this going on, the turnover rate is extremely high. On average, someone leaves and someone else arrives every three days. HR's performance must be excellent—well, no wonder, since they're constantly seeing employees off and welcoming new ones.
