This company is actually a family business. The management is made up entirely of the owner's children, with the intention of arranging for the second generation to take over. Unfortunately, they couldn't handle it, so older outsiders were brought in instead, resulting in a workplace full of relatives and favorites.
There are also many colleagues who look down their noses at others and ignore people. They won't even say a word to you, and they're the type who roll their eyes when they see someone. There are tons of two-faced drama queens who put on an act every day—one face in public and another behind people's backs. They form cliques, spread endless gossip, constantly complain, and endlessly criticize newcomers. Today they're secretly talking about how this person is strange and that person is weird. Every new colleague has to be judged. Meanwhile, the clique members are always there secretly spreading rumors and driving others away. I guess this is how they've managed to remain long-time deadwood for seven or eight years.
With things run this way, the turnover rate is extremely high. On average, someone leaves and someone else arrives every three days. HR must be doing great—well, of course, they're constantly seeing people in and sending them out. More employees come and go than customers. = =
They are constantly posting new openings, and some positions stay listed forever. Do you know why? It's not just because 104 lets them keep listings up for free. They really do interview and hire people, but any normal person will realize within three days of starting that the company is seriously abnormal and immediately run away. So the job postings don't need to be closed, because a normal person will never stay for more than a week. If someone stays longer than a week, they gradually become abnormal too, falling into self-doubt and inner conflict. In the end, they'll still leave; it just means wasting another two months. Oh, right—I forgot to mention that the working environment is terrible, the colleagues are obnoxious, and the managers have all kinds of problems.
