This company is actually a family business. The management team consists entirely of the owner's children, who were supposed to take over as the second generation. Unfortunately, they couldn't, so older outsiders were brought in instead, ultimately resulting in many relatives and favored insiders.
There are also many colleagues who look down their noses at others and ignore people. They won't even say a word to you, and they're the type who roll their eyes when they see someone. There are tons of two-faced drama queens who put on an act every day—one face in public and another behind your back. They form cliques, gossip endlessly, complain endlessly, and constantly criticize newcomers. Today they'll secretly say that this person is weird and that person is strange. Every new colleague who comes in gets criticized. Meanwhile, the clique members stay there forever, secretly spreading rumors and driving others away. I guess this is how they've managed to become long-term deadwood of seven or eight years.
With things run this way, the turnover rate is extremely high. On average, someone leaves and someone else arrives every three days. HR must be doing great—well, of course, they're constantly sending people off and welcoming new ones. The number of employees coming and going is greater than the number of customers. = =
They are constantly posting new openings, and some positions remain listed indefinitely. Do you know why? It's not because 104 leaves them posted just because they can. They really do interview and hire people, but any normal person realizes within three days of starting that the company is seriously abnormal and immediately runs away. So the job postings don't need to be closed, because a normal person will never stay for more than a week. If someone stays longer than a week, they gradually become abnormal too, beginning to fall into self-doubt and inner struggle. In the end, they'll still leave; it just means wasting another two months. Oh, right—I forgot to mention that the work environment is terrible, the colleagues have awful attitudes, and the managers are problematic in all sorts of ways.
