This company is actually a family business. The management consists entirely of the owner’s children, who were supposed to take over as the second generation. Unfortunately, they couldn’t, so they brought in older outsiders, which ultimately resulted in a lot of nepotism.

There are also many colleagues who look down their noses at others and ignore people. They won’t even say a word to you, and they’re the type to roll their eyes when they see someone. There are tons of two-faced drama queens who put on an act every day—one way to your face and another behind your back. They form cliques, spread endless gossip, constantly complain, and never stop criticizing new hires. Today they’ll secretly say that one person is weird and another is strange; every new colleague who arrives gets criticized. Meanwhile, the clique members stay there forever, secretly spreading rumors and driving others away. I guess this is how they’ve managed to become long-term deadwood for seven or eight years.

As a result, the turnover rate is extremely high. On average, someone leaves and someone else arrives every three days. HR must be doing great—well, no kidding, since they’re constantly ushering people in and out all day. More employees come and go than customers. = =

They are constantly opening new positions, and some vacancies stay posted indefinitely. Do you know why? It’s not just because 104 leaves listings up simply because they can. People really are interviewed and hired, but any normal person will realize within three days of starting that the company is seriously abnormal and immediately run away. So the positions don’t need to be closed, because a normal person will never stay for more than a week. If someone stays longer than a week, they gradually become abnormal too, falling into self-doubt and inner conflict. In the end, they still leave—it just means wasting another two months. Oh, right, I forgot to mention that the work environment is terrible, the colleagues have awful attitudes, and the managers are problematic in all sorts of ways.
