When I joined, everyone was quite friendly. They showed concern for one another and greeted each other. Most people seemed to be doing pretty well.
Three days after I joined, I was suddenly told that the company was making a staffing change. The boss said that the department did not need another assistant and kept apologizing, saying that I had learned the job well and was stable, but that they were helpless about the company’s sudden decision. They then gave me an involuntary termination. I wasted NT$1,250 on a medical examination for the job, which left me feeling terrible. Shouldn’t recruiters get the boss’s approval before hiring? Also, on my second day, I heard the boss arranging another interview. This company is truly a minefield ^_^
