Everyone was quite friendly when I started. They showed concern for one another and greeted each other. Most people seemed to be doing quite well.
Three days after I started, they suddenly said that the company was adjusting the position. The boss said that the department did not need another assistant and kept apologizing to me, saying that I had learned quickly and was working steadily, and that they were also helpless about the company suddenly doing this. They then gave me an involuntary termination. I wasted NT$1,250 on a medical examination for the job, which felt terrible. Shouldn't recruiters get the boss's approval before hiring someone? Also, on my second day, I heard the boss arranging another interview. This really is a company to avoid.
