When I started, everyone was quite friendly. They asked how I was doing, greeted one another, and generally seemed to be doing pretty well.
Three days after I started, I was suddenly told that the company was changing my position. The boss said that the department did not need an additional assistant and kept apologizing, saying that I had learned the work well and was very stable, but that they were also helpless about the company’s sudden decision. They then gave me an involuntary termination. I wasted NT$1,250 on a medical examination required for starting the job, which left me feeling terrible. Shouldn’t recruiters obtain the boss’s approval before hiring someone? Moreover, on my second day, I heard them arranging another interview. This is truly a company to avoid.
