When I joined, everyone was quite friendly. They showed concern for one another, greeted each other, and most people seemed to be doing quite well.
Three days after I joined, they suddenly told me there had been a staff reallocation. The boss said that the department did not need another assistant and kept apologizing to me, saying that I had learned quickly and was working steadily. They said they were also helpless about the company’s sudden decision, and then gave me an involuntary termination. I wasted NT$1,250 on a medical examination for the job, which made me feel terrible. Shouldn’t recruiters obtain the boss’s approval before hiring someone? Moreover, on my second day, I heard him arrange another interview. This really is a company to avoid.
