When I joined, everyone was quite friendly. They would ask how I was doing, greet each other, and generally seemed to be doing quite well.
Three days after I joined, I was suddenly told that the company was changing my position. The boss said that the department did not need another assistant and kept apologizing to me, saying that I had been learning well and was very steady, and that they were also helpless about the company suddenly doing this. They then gave me an involuntary separation. I wasted NT$1,250 on a medical examination for the job, which felt terrible. Shouldn’t recruiters only recruit after getting the boss’s approval? Also, on my second day, I heard them arranging another interview. This really is a company to avoid.
