The colleagues get along very well.
However, the managers who have the authority to speak are extremely unpleasant, and their thinking is also outdated.
The office environment is terrible (there are no windows and the air does not circulate), and the salary never changes (it was already lower than that of other department stores to begin with, and there are no bonuses. Meal allowances and the bonuses for the three major festivals are all loaded onto a card, forcing you to spend only at the department store). Promotions are not based on work ability, but only on whether you know how to flatter the people above you.
People who quietly do their jobs are given more and more responsibilities, and also have to handle administrative tasks for the Wuri location. One person is essentially being used as several people. There are only around 250 internal employees, yet they also have to be responsible for the 20th floor and nearly 50 people at Wuri. Most importantly, the people above do not hire additional staff; they only keep increasing your workload. Of course, they do not increase your salary either, and they will criticize you whenever you take leave.
Many department-level managers are incompetent. Whenever something happens, they make the people below them handle it. Even when everyone has resigned, they still do not think it is their own problem. In short: run away quickly. Whether you work in the back office or as a floor manager, everyone feels that the salary is not proportional to the workload. The more capable people stay for a while and then leave; the company cannot retain talent.
Do not ever think about staying until retirement, unless you can reach department-manager level. Employees below that level are only there to be mistreated, whether they retire or resign.
